A competitive dancer of year is chosen each year based on their overall accomplishments throughout the year, their commitment to their sport and love of dance. The dancer is announced at recital.

Dancers of the Month
Each month during the dance year a Dancer of the Month will be selected from the Competitive Team and from the Recreational Dancers. The dance teachers will be looking for dancers that work extremely hard in class, show a positive attitude and/or have made personal improvements in their dance class. The dancers of the month will have their picture and name posted on the bulletin board at the Studio for the month and will be displayed here online on the Project dance website. A! the end of the dance year, these Dancers of the Month will then have the opportunity to win Dancer of the Year which will be announced at the end of the year recital.

Dance Scholarships
Project Dance Competitive Group is a registered not-for-profit fundraising group that raises funds to allow our competitive dance team the opportunity to travel and compete throughout the province as well as nationally, and represent our community of Greater Sudbury. Our group also gives back to the community, in the form of local performances, dance scholarships and donations to local charitable organizations. We are pleased to sponsor two scholarships the Team Spirit Award and the Jordan Fram Memorial Award.
